Pick n Mix – making communication sweet
Speaker: Sarah Gee, Managing Consultant, Dixon Raines
Do you sometimes feel that the print that you slaved over for months is simply glanced at and casually put to one side? Your latest direct e-mail has been deleted from an overly stuffed Inbox without a second glance? Fliers and leaflets are left to gather dust in dark corners?
What is it about?
This practical and interactive workshop led by Sarah Gee, Managing Partner, Indigo Ltd will focus on managing your communication tools and finding out which ones will help you work out what your organisation should be saying to whom; when you should be saying it; and which is the best method to get the appropriate message across. We'll include a step-by-step guide for you to take away, information on resources for further follow-up, and plenty of case studies.
Who is it for?
Anyone responsible for communicating messages about their organisation internally or externally. You might work in marketing, press, fundraising, or HR, or be a general manager.
Delegates can expect to gain:
- how to identify your organisation’s key messages and figure out who needs to hear them,
- an understanding of the range of communications tools available to get your messages across,
- hints for monitoring and evaluation to know if you have succeeded, as well as help to formulate 'Plan B' if the environment changes.
Sarah Gee previously Managing Consultant at DixonRaines, is now Managing Partner, Indigo Ltd. Indigo Ltd is a small consultancy, specialising purely in the arts, cultural and heritage sectors, working to increase organisations' impact and income through more effective marketing and fundraising.
